GroupVery’s Nitrovery teams allow Ixaris to access top talent

The customer

Ixaris (www.ixaris.com), a fintech company based in London and Malta, has brought innovation to the payment industry since 2003, when they launched the first virtual prepaid credit card, EntroPay, offering millions of global consumers a safe, reliable and convenient way to pay online.

Ixaris prepaid b2b payment apps have revolutionised the way commercial clients operate, particularly in the travel sector. Ixaris is still leading the way in delivering next generation payments solutions, having founded the European Union-funded Open Payments Ecosystem project – which led to the launch of the Open Payments Cloud (OPC), a b2b payments platform for developers and financial services providers. The OPC is expected to enable an explosion in payment applications addressing diverse customer needs through open infrastructure.

The challenge

Technology is at the core of Ixaris’ solutions, and they have a very strong internal team of highly skilled and experienced developers. But they also wanted flexible access to skilled developers, to strengthen their teams when required, on a project basis.

Finding those skills was made harder by the fact that in order to provide extremely simple to integrate, but highly secure and performant solutions to their customers, Ixaris uses cutting edge technology and requires not only good developers but those who are strong and proactive engineers with excellent communication skills.

The solution

Nitrovery worked very closely with the Ixaris technology team to understand their requirements and was able to provide very quickly the strong engineers Ixaris needed. When most other providers would send lots of CVs, Nitrovery presented a very limited number, with most meeting all Ixaris requirements.

Issues sometimes arise, but those are handled and resolved quickly.

The benefits

  • Fast ramp up time
  • High flexibility
  • High quality of the resources (both technically and from a soft skills point-of-view)
